We dropped internet in order to both save money and get some work done on the house. It worked, we have more money now, and our major basement project is 99% finished. I'll post some pics later on. I haven't really felt like I had much to share for the last couple of months, but now I'm ready to give it another run. There is still a lot I need to do to get the blog looking good, but I figured that first I'll see how I do at just keeping up with posting. Well, last Christmas, I weighed in at a fat 250. Through pretty much dieting only, I got down to 220. In May, I started a pretty rigorous lifting program, and have built myself up to the low 230s, but I'm pretty sure the weight I've gained back has been muscle.

I've still got some belly to get rid of, and my gym membership runs out at the end of August. With coaching this fall, I won't really have time to get to the gym. So, for the next couple of months, I'm going to try to push myself with some other challenges. Here they are:

I did my initial test this morning, and did 33. I thought I would be a little better than that, but it's something.

and the other one is becoming a 30 minute runner, and after that a one hour runner. This one will be a lot tougher than the one above.

I'll try to do my best to keep up to date on my progress.

Hopefully in November, I'll be able to get back into a gym, and hit the weights hard again.

Anybody else have any fitness challenges that you have tried?Tylerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13397861204230363698noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753770249876056131.post-16393208919028077182008-08-11T21:54:00.000-07:002008-08-11T21:56:42.506-07:00Here we go againI got into blogging about a year and a half ago, but dropped internet to save time and money for the last six months. I'm going to focus a little more on my life, and use this kind of as a journal. I welcome all of you to join me.Tylerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13397861204230363698noreply@blogger.com0
